DAY TRIP: SAVE THE DATE
Thursday, May 24, 2012.  Join us as we tour our
beautiful San Antonio.  We will visit wonderful city
landmarks such as the newly renovated San Jose
Mission, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (our own
Painted Church), Pearl Brewery, etc.  We will stop for
lunch at some place yet to be decided.  Cost is $30
per person; deadline is May 14.

2012 CO-ED YOUNG ADULT RETREAT
Have you been searching for more in your life and
cannot find it, asking questions and not getting
answers? We’d like to invite you to join us for the St.
Paul Young Adults Retreat.  This is a great
opportunity to discover your true identity and
experience Christ in a new and powerful way.  
(Retreat will be co-ed and for ages 18-29 yrs).  
The Retreat will be May 24-27 and cost is $135. To

SISTERS-IN-CHRIST
We continue our first Saturday of the month
gathering beginning with the rosary in the

chapel at 8:30 am and continuing with fellowship
for women afterwards in the Paula House.  
On June 2nd, we welcome guest speaker
Sister Mary Fagan!  Please join us and BYOB!!
(Bring your own breakfast/bible)  Coffee and light
pastries will be provided.  All women are invited, but
unfortunately there are no accommodations for

Center from 18 months to 5 years old classrooms.

FAMILY BIBLE STUDY DAYS:
Join us on May 30 & 31 and
June 4, 5, & 6 for a few days filled with scripture,
craft activities, and music!  This scripture study will
begin at 7 pm & end at 8:30 pm.  Check upcoming
bulletins for registration information for this spirit-
filled week.   

NEED A DATE NIGHT?
When is the last time you and your spouse had a date
night but more importantly devoted an evening for
your marriage or relationship?
Every 3rd Saturday of
the month our Parish hosts a Date Night for all
engaged and married couples.
Don't have a sitter...no
worries we also offer free childcare! Join us and
many other couples as we discover God's plan for
marriage and share insights on strengthening our

is now being offered at St. Paul Parish and is

Counseling. No one in need of services will be

Community Center News

REMINDER - Bingo 7 days a week located at 502
Embassy Oaks! Doors open at 5pm followed by a
7pm session and an 8:30pm session.

St. Paul Catholic Learning Center:
We had a tremendous turnout for our Fiesta
Parade, Float Competition and Coronation
activities!  Everyone worked so hard for
this important and very successful activity
which directly benefits the Learning
Center.  A detailed report of winners, net
proceeds and thank you’s will appear in

Summer Camp:
  Applications for Summer
Camp here at the Learning Center are currently
available.  Drop by and pick up your application to
insure your child’s spot here over the summer.
SPCC Commission meeting on Monday, May
7th at 6:30 pm in the Cain Room.

Bingo Bonanza - Thanks to the support of so
many, the Center received $4,000 from our
bingo participation during the 2nd quarter of
2012.  Bingo every night at 502 Embassy
Oaks.  Great fun and great support!!!

Thanks  to all who Came Back Home for
our Spaghetti Dinner fund raiser
on April
22nd.  The generosity of our donors provided
all the food needed for this event.  Chef
Edmund, Rachel Perez and Jennifer Smyrl
outdid themselves - again.  A more detailed
report will appear in next week’s bulletin.
